Hong Kong Air Cargo participated in the 30th anniversary ceremony of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Beijing office on 19 November. The event marked a significant milestone in IATA’s contributions to the aviation industry in China and North Asia.
During the ceremony, Hong Kong Air Cargo’s Vice President, Ms. Tina Tian, joined officials from Civil Aviation Administration of China and industry leaders in celebrating IATA’s achievements over the past three decades, featuring insightful speeches and discussions on the future development of global aviation industry.
In a highlight of the event, Ms. Tian represented Hong Kong Air Cargo to sign the IATA Safety Leadership Charter, reaffirming the airline’s commitment to enhancing safety culture within the aviation industry. The charter, which emphasises the importance of a positive safety culture and strong leadership, aligns with Hong Kong Air Cargo’s dedication to maintaining the highest safety standards.
Ms. Tian expressed her gratitude about the airline’s participation, “We are honoured to be part of this significant milestone for IATA and to demonstrate our commitment to safety by signing the IATA Safety Leadership Charter. This reflects our ongoing efforts to prioritise safety and excellence in all our operations.”
