Hong Kong Air Cargo is stepping into an important milestone with the completion of the AOC Proving Flight after a year and a half assessment by Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD). Flight RH9001 departed Hong Kong for Hanoi, Vietnam at 10:40, arriving Hanoi at 11:46 (Hanoi time). After a 2-hour ground inspection, flight RH9002 returned to Hong Kong, departed at 13:29 and arriving Hong Kong International Airport at 16:20.
During the proving flight from Hong Kong to Hanoi, Vietnam, Hong Kong Air Cargo has been delivering the highest standard from cargo loading and unloading to every of its checkpoints, fulfilling the requirements set by CAD, the proving flight is another step forward to obtaining the Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) granted by CAD.
To comply with rules and regulations of Civil Aviation Department, Hong Kong Airlines has set up a special management team a year ago, under the leadership of Mr. Zhong Guo Song, Vice President of the group. The team incorporates the-best-of professionals from pilots, engineers, ground service, strategic planning, finance and administration. They are continuing to build up an even stronger team by recruiting more airline professionals, in the preparation of this new cargo development of the group.
